Stray Kids’ Hyunjin is to put a pause in his activities. JYP Entertainment announced on the 27th that the member is to “reflect on himself while putting a halt to all activities.”
Hyunjin met up with the classmate who raised suspicions of the singer’s school violence to apologize. “We have contacted all of those who were involved in events and schedules that Hyunjin was going to participate, and took actions to cancel the activities in ways that would cause minimal damage. This process took some time,” the company explained.
It also stated that Hyunjin is sincerely regretting and reflecting on himself for hurting many people with harsh and inappropriate words in middle school. “We sincerely apologize to those who were hurt, and will do our best to make up for their pains.”

We’d like to talk about the activities of Stray Kids’ Hyunjin. Currently, we have contacted everyone who was involved in events and schedules that Hyunjin was going to participate, and took actions to cancel the activities in ways that would cause minimal damage.
This process took some time, and hence our statement on Hyunjin’s plans for the future has been delayed. Hyunjin is to reflect on himself after putting a halt to all of his activities as an entertainer.
