Rookie actors Park Ji Hoon, Kang Min Ah and Lee Shin Young have been confirmed to star in the new webtoon-adapted drama Blue Spring From A Distance (literal title).
On Jan 25, the Blue Spring From A Distance production crew confirmed the cast lineup of Park Ji Hoon, Kang Minu Ah and Lee Shin Young.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, Blue Spring From A Distance depicts the struggles of people in their 20s living in a harsh world that is overshared by the phrase “the beautiful time that only youth can enjoy.”
Park Ji Hoon, who showed solid performances in Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency and Love Revolution in the past two years, have been cast to play Yeo Joon, a freshman who grew up in a well-to-do environment. Kang Min Ah, who recently appeared in True Beauty, will okay Kim So Bin, a hard-working college student, while Crash Landing On You actor Lee Shin Young takes on the role of Nam Soo Hyun, a talented and perfectionist who always scores straight A.
The production team shared, “It will showcase not only the heart-fluttering campus romance, but also the sympathetic stories and characters’ colorful chemistry.”
The drama is in talks to be programmed as the new KBS drama to air in the first half of the year.
