In the recent episode of KBS’s Convenience Store Restaurant, Yoon Eun Hye met with Kim Jae Wook to gift him the snack she made herself.
As a part of her mission, Yoon cooked tteokbokki that resembles the snack truck that used to be in front of schools and fried fish cake and cream cheese. Packing her hands heavy with the food she made, she went to see actor Kim Jae Wook, whom she worked with in the 2007 drama Coffee Prince.
As soon as they met, the two welcomely greeted each other. Kim added, “My mother said that she wanted to learn from you after seeing you in Convenience Store Restaurant. My mother specializes in Korean food, and she was surprised to see you making western food so well.”
Yoon jokingly commented, “What should I do if your mother likes me.”
Enjoying the food, the two actors recalled their Coffee Prince days. Saying that Yoon invited him and other actors to her house to treat them with the food she made, Kim shared, “You laid out salmon canape like a buffet. That’s when I realized that you love cooking.”
“He remembers what I don’t remember, and I remember what he doesn’t remember. I’m grateful for that,” said Yoon.
Seeing the “pink mood” between the two, Lee Young Ja and Oh Yoon Ah exclaimed, “Oh my god, my heart’s fluttering,” and “This is like a scene from a rom-com drama,” giving a big laugh.
