Choreographer Bae Yoon Jung picked four girl group members who she believes are the best dancers in the K-pop scene.
In the latest episode of KBS’s Problem Child in House, choreographer Bae appeared as a guest. As one of the hit-makers, Bae has worked with some of the biggest names in K-pop, including Lee Hyori, EXID, Kara, T-ara and Girls’ Day, and worked on songs like “UP & DOWN,” “Something,” “Roly-Poly,” and “Abracadabra.”
During the episode, she was asked, “Who’s the best dancer in the K-pop scene now?” Bae answered right away, “I am asked this kind of question a lot, but these days, everyone’s a great dancer.” But when she was asked to pick those who are particularly good, Bae chose four girl idols – IZ* ONE’s Chaeyeon, Chungha, Blackpink’s Lisa and Red Velvet’s Seulgi.
But she soon added, “(I picked these four) but there are so many idols who are excellent in dancing. It’s harder to find those who are bad.”
To the question, “Who’s the best dancer in Korea?” Bae Yoon Jung instantly came up with two names, Chae Rina and JYP (Park Jin Young), drawing attention.
