Producer and Jazz-Pop R&B singer-songwriter DAVII reveals a surprise Christmas song with unparalleled sentiments and lyrics.
DAVII will release his new song, “I Don’t Trust in Santa” (literal title) featuring Urbanzapa’s Kwon Sun Il and Jo Hyun Ah, through various platforms at noon KST on the 24th.
The new song compares Santa to satan as it candidly portrays 2020, a year more depressing than ever. It is a carol of the R&B Soul genre which sings about this Christmas, which is unlikely to be happy.
The song was written, produced, and arranged by DAVII himself, as Urban Zakapa’s Kwon Sun Il and Jo Hyun Ah joined to feature in it. “I Don’t Trust in Santa” (literal title) was further perfected by DAVII’s musical soulmate, Heize, as she joined in writing and producing the song along with Tarin who helped with the chorus.
The artist demonstrates his capabilities as an “all-rounder musician,” as he presents diverse genres by announcing a Christmas Song after previously releasing a jazz single “Don’t Stop the Music” back in August.
