Rapper Nafla, who was suspended from indictment for smoking marijuana, has signed an exclusive contract with GROOVL1N. GROOVL1N is a hip-hop label with VIXX’s Ravi as its chief.
On the 22nd, Nafla uploaded a lengthy statement on his SNS saying, “I’m sorry to give you the unpleasant news.” He apologized for disappointing and added that he is “deeply reflecting on [his] lack of awareness about the fact that marijuana is not allowed in Korea.”
Nafla announced his transfer of agency from MKIT RAIN to GROOVL1N, as he explained that the label decided to keep his contract after multiple conversations between them.
In response, GROOVL1N also revealed the ongoing procedures between them and MKIT RAIN “to proceed with the transfer process and prevent any misunderstandings.”
GROOVL1N reported that Nafla had undertaken shoots for his new profile picture and music video for his new album, after signing the contract with the label in August. Hence, Nafla has completed his transfer before he was caught smoking marijuana. They continued, “GROOVL1N has made a difficult final decision not to revoke the contract, after long talks with the artists, countless worries, and his sincere commitment.”
