Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si, who appeared in Netflix original series Sweet Home as siblings, will meet as love interests in their next project.
On Dec 21, KBS announced the production of their new drama Youth of May (literal title) and confirmed the cast of Lee Do Hyun, Go Min Si, Lee Sang Yi and Keum Sae Rok. Youth of May is a “retro human romance” drama about two young people who got swept up in the Gwangju Uprising that took place in May 1980.
The drama will tell the spring-like love story of Hee Tae and Myung Hee, who fell in love with each other like fate without knowing the upcoming whirlwind. Hee Tae, who is smart enough to enter the medical school with the top grade, is a person who fights against prejudice. Myung Hee is a nurse who proudly confronts unfair treatment.
As the two showed great chemistry as siblings in Sweet Home, attention focuses on what they will show as a couple of love birds.
Youth of May will begin filming in earnest soon with a goal to premiere in the first half of 2021.
