Big Hit Labels to Pre-Record Some Performances for Their Upcoming New Year’s Eve Live Concert

Big Hit Labels said they will do their best to ensure a safe performance amid the re-proliferation of coronavirus, including pre-recording some of the performances.

On Dec 21, Big Hit Labels released a new notice on its global platform Weverse titled “2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE presented by Weverse COVID-19 Prevention Measures.” According to their announcements, the concert will follow strict health guidelines in accordance with social distancing guidelines addressing the current COVID-19 situation, such as pre-recording some of the performances, COVID-19 testing on-site and masks.

“Hello.

This is Big Hit Labels.

We would like to provide some information regarding COVID-19 prevention measures for “2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE presented by Weverse” in accordance with social distancing guidelines addressing the current COVID-19 situation.

“2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE presented by Weverse” will be streamed live online with some of the performances pre-recorded, and the event will take place following the public health guidelines below.

Every staff member will undergo COVID-19 testing, and only those who tested negative will participate in the event.

Everyone entering in and out of the venue will be required to complete a COVID-19 screening survey, be subject to temperature screening and fill in the visitor log.

Every staff member will be required to wear facial masks at all times and comply with disinfecting procedures and public health guidelines.

The number of staff members will be closely monitored and controlled, including by pre-recording certain segments.

Social distancing will be maintained in the venue by minimizing the number of staff on-site.

The number of staff in close proximity to the artists will be minimized.

Ventilation and disinfecting procedures will take place on a regular basis.

We will strive to ensure the highest level of safety for our artists and staff participating in this event.

Meanwhile, Lee Hyun, BTS, NU’EST, Kye Bum Zu, GFRIEND, TXT, ENHYPEN, Steve Aoki, Lauv and Halsey have been included in the lineup. �
