SEVENTEEN will be absent from the upcoming “2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE presented by Weverse.”

According to a media outlet, SEVENTEEN will not participate in the joint concert by Hig Bit Labels artists.

The group had decided not to attend the concert as they already planned some other schedule even before the concert was planned. Though it will be Big Hit’s first family concert, SEVENTEEN decided not to attend the event after much discussion due to their pre-arranged schedule.

Yesterday, Bit Hit Labels announced that they will be hosting “2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE Presented by Weverse” on December 31. This will be the first concert to feature Big Hit Labels artists in one event and will be capped with the countdown to welcome in the new year.

So far, NU’EST from Pledis, ENHYPEN from BELIFT LAB, TXT from Big Hit, and GFRIEND from Source Music have confirmed their appearances. The final lineup is scheduled to be unveiled tomorrow.

To ensure safety, the offline performance will offer limited seating, and if future government regulations prevent the group gathering, the offline concert will be canceled and “2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE presented by Weverse” will only be streamed online.
