On October 27, ChildFund Korea (Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation) announced that Kim Yoo Jung has become the 229th sponsor of the Green Noble Club.

The Green Noble Club is a donor society for those who donate over 100 million KRW (about 88,511 USD), and Kim Yoo Jung, born in 1999, became the youngest member of the club. In addition to the non-celebrity sponsors who have donated at least 100 million KRW over five years, the Green Noble Club consists of celebrities, including Song Il Gook (joined in 2017), TVXQ’s Changmin (joined in 2018), and BTS’s J-Hope (joined in 2019).

Since her debut, Kim Yoo Jung quietly continued her good deeds under a different name. Some of her donations have funded low-income children struggling amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and the rest will be used as medical expenses for sick children.

Lee Je Hoon, chairman of the ChildFund Korea, said, “We sincerely welcome Kim Yoo Jung, who has been known for her outstanding acting skills since she was a child actor. We hope that the Green Noble Club will take the lead in spreading the culture of sharing as the pillar of hope for children to grow up happily.”
