Kim Sae Ron dropped out of KBS’s new drama Dear. M.

An official from Kim Sae Ron’s agency Gold Medalist said, “We decided to drop out of the drama after consultation due to differences in opinions. We will consider our next film while cheering for Dear. M.”

Dear. M is a spin-off of the hit web-drama series Love Playlist. It is a youth romance drama about the campus-wide search for the mysterious “M,” an individual who wrote the post on the online community that turned the entire college upside down.

Kim Sae Ron previously played Seo Ji Min, the center of Seoyeon University’s cheering squad, in Love Playlist: Season 4. It was earlier reported that the actress joined Dear. M as the same role, but decided to drop out after much discussion.

Meanwhile, Dear. M aims to premiere in the first half of 2021.
