BTS has confirmed their appearance at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards (BBMA). The group has been nominated for four consecutive years.
On Oct. 1, Billboard confirmed BTS’s performance, saying, “The K-pop supergroup will be among other big names in music performing that night. Alicia Keys, Luke Combs, Bad Bunny, Post Malone, Demi Lovato, Sia and En Vogue have also been announced as performers for this year’s ceremony.”
The K-pop group has been nominated for two categories and will be competing for the “Top/Duo Group” and “Top Social Artist” awards at the 2020 BBMA. With this, BTS has been nominated for BBMA for 4 consecutive years. The septet received an official invitation from BBMA in 2017 for the first time in K-pop history. Last year, they took home two awards, “Top/Duo Group” and “Top Social Artist.”
This year’s show will be hosted by Kelly Clarkson for the third time and will broadcast live from Dolby Theatre. It airs on Oct. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
