[Weekly TV Top 10] With “Park Bo Gum Effect,” ‘Record of Youth’ Blasted into Second Week at No. 1

Park Bo Gum is shaking up the small screen every Monday and Tuesday with his “heart-fluttering” performance. Rave reviews about the actor are being poured so much so that it’s almost impossible to feel his absence (as he joined the military). If Park Bo Gum is at the center of the popularity of Record of Youth, Stranger 2 and Flower of Evil have Jo Seung Woo and Lee Joon Ki at the center. The more popular the actors are, the better results the dramas get. This also goes the same for Do You Like Brahms?, which garnered a big fan base. The two main actors, Park Eun Bin and Kim Min Jae, captivated viewers, leading to a steady viewership despite being aired on the same days as Record of Youth. Let’s check out which programs have made headlines over the past week.

The Dramas on 3rd Week of September 2020

Record of Youth blasted into the second week at No. 1 on the popularity chart. The male characters getting vaccinated for cervical cancer became a hot topic, dominating real-time search in portal sites. In all, the drama is receiving rave reviews. Stranger 2, which landed at No. 2 for two weeks in a row, caught the attention with Jo Seung Woo and Bae Doo Na’s cooperation, reminding viewers of the previous season. Flower of Evil, which came in third, was well-received for actors’ passionate performances, predominantly about the rediscovery of actor Kim Ji Hoon. Do you like Brahms? was ranked fourth as Park Eun Bin and Kim Min Jae’s lovely relationship drew attention. Homemade Love Story got off to a good start in fifth place, while Alice, starring Kim Hee Sun and Joo Won, finished sixth with a steady decline.
