The drama revolves around a zombie in his second year of resurrection who becomes a detective in pursuit of his past and his lost memories, and will combine thriller with action, comedy, and romance. Choi Jin Hyuk – Kim Moo Young (a zombie in his second year of resurrection, detective agency CEO)
He is a sexy and wild zombie. He always sprays perfume as frequently as possible to disguise the smell of a dead body and washes his body every day, and his hobby is bathing. His favorite food is Gopchang (tripe). Zombie movies are considered a “disaster” film for humans, but for zombies living in a world of the living, the reality is the definition of “disaster.” He suffers from panic disorder and social phobia.
He had put in incredible effort to correct his inarticulate speech and awkward gait, and found a new beginning as a detective Kim Moo Young. Now he runs a detective agency, where he meets human Gong Sun Ji.
He said, “Though he appears in full zombie makeup, he has these sloppy sides that will make you laugh,” citing the humane charm of zombie Kim Moo Young.
Park Joo Hyun – Gong Sun Ji (a former writer of an investigative journalism program who now works as an intern at a detective agency)
She is a man of even greater tenacity than a zombie. She has such a keen sense of justice and a big heart that she often finds herself in trouble. Living in her sister’s home, she is under pressure of living expenses. She has dark circles as much as a zombie and always looks tired.
When a witness of a case she’s investigating is attacked by an unknown assailant, she leaves the industry in shock. She meets detective Kim Moo Young by chance and starts working as an intern at his office, but her boss is quite suspicious.
She said, “The fact that a zombie and a human join hands to correct the order of the world is quite interesting,” and cited an unpredictable story created by their partnership as the key point.
Kwon Hwa Woon – Cha Do Hyun (detective in violent crime unit, Sun Ji’s friend)
He is an elite detective who has both the warmth and coolness. He is handsome, has great fashion sense, and shows No.1 performance in the precinct.
As Sun Ji’s old friend, he always helps her get out of the troubles and becomes the rock for her. When he is confused over how he feels about her, Kim Moo Young appears. After meeting him, his detective instinct kicks in, so he starts to dig after Kim Moo Young.
He said, “I think it’s a new genre that’s completely different from typical zombie movies,” stressing a new kind of fun.
