BLACKPINK won the award at the MTV Video Music Awards for the first time as a K-pop girl group.
BLACKPINK was selected as the winner of “Song Of Summer” at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards with “How You Like That.” Besides BLACKPINK, Cardi B’s “WAP,” DJ Khalid’s “Popstar,” and Dua Lipa’s “Break My Heart“ were nominated for the award.
With this, the group wrote the history by becoming the first Asian girl group to win an award at the VMA.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has recently unveiled their pre-released single Ice Cream and received explosive responses from music fans around the world. On October 2, they will release their first full-length album.
