Movie The Golden Holiday, starring Kwok Do Won, Kim Dae Myung, and Kim Hee Won, has abruptly postponed its release three days.

On the morning of August 16, SHOWBOX notified each theater of the postponement of the release of the upcoming movie The Golden Holiday. As a result, CGV, Lotte Cinema, and other theaters are urgently closing their already-opened reservation sites while giving refunds.

The Golden Holiday is a crime comedy film about a police detective in a rural town who suddenly gets involved in the global crime in his first-ever trip abroad. Ahead of its release on the 19th, actors have been actively engaging in promotional activities, including appearing on various entertainment shows like I Live Alone and Running Man.

However, as the social distancing has been upgraded to the second level in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, and the discount policies for movie theaters have been canceled, SHOWBOX decided to delay the release of the movie.

Also, since the release has been delayed, the press preview scheduled for August 18 is likely to be canceled as well.
