YG Entertainment’s new boy group TREASURE is drawing keen attention.
According to YG Entertainment, “BOY,” the title track of TREASURE’s debut single THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER ONE, topped iTunes Top Song Charts in 19 countries, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico and Saudi Arabia.
The song is also getting great results in China and Japan by ranking in the top 11 in Chinese QQ music and topping the Japanese Line Music.
Also, TREASURE’s “COUNTDOWN LIVE,” held two hours before the album’s release, garners more than 3 million viewers and surpasses 1 billion hearts. Besides, “#TREASURE_DEBUT_DDAY” topped the world’s real-time trend. The number of subscribers to TREASURE’s YouTube channel has increased by 200,000 since its debut, recording 1.57 million.
YG Entertainment said, “Since TREASURE is a group aimed at the global market from the beginning, TREASURE MAKERs around the world have responded enthusiastically to their official debut. Their ‘teen crush’ that contains both teen-specific hot energy and fresh charm is their charm.”
Meanwhile, TREASURE will have their debut stage on SBS’s Inkigayo tomorrow (August 9) and perform their title song “BOY.”
