GFoundation, a non-government organization that helps children in need, revealed that they were able to produce and distribute sanitary pad kits to 500 low-income female teenagers in June thanks to Yoo Jae Suk’s donation.

In 2016, teenagers were caught using insoles from their shoes as replacements for sanitary pads because they did not have enough money to purchase them. GFoundation works to support these teenagers and get sanitary pads to those who need them.

Inside the sanitary pad kits are products that women and teenagers need, such as sanitary pads, feminine cleanser products, face packs, a sanitary pad pouch, basic makeup products, hand sanitizers, and hand-written letters of support. These kits were distributed to 500 teenagers across 49 different centers across the country.

One teenager who received the kit said, “I always felt pressure when buying sanitary pads due to the price. I feel so thankful. After reading the hand-written letter, I realized that I’m a precious and valuable person.”

Park Chong Kwan, the CEO of GFoundation, said, “We want to express our most sincere gratitude to Yoo Jae Suk for helping us produce and distribute sanitary pad kids to low-income women and teenagers who need them the most. We will continue to do our best to help low-income female teenagers grow up healthy.”

Yoo Jae Suk has also been donating to low-income single mothers and those affected by the recent COVID-19 pandemic.
