Lee Jung Hyun & Kim Sung Oh’s ‘Night of the Undead’ Confirms Its Release in September

A new comedy thriller film is on its way.

The movie Night of the Undead confirmed its release in September and unveiled the first two-piece poster and first trailer.

Night of the Undead is a sci-fi comedy thriller that tells the story of three women joining hands to kill “Unbreakable,” an immortal man. It is the new film by director Shin Jung Won, best known for To Catch A Virgin Ghost, Chaw, and Ghost Sweepers, in 8 years.

The fresh combination of actors, including Lee Jung Hyun, Kim Sung Oh, Seo Young Hee, Yang Dong Geun, and Lee Mi Do, catches the eye.

Like the unusual title, the movie will combine a genre and material that has never been seen in the Korean movies. Director Shin Jung Won said, “I have put in the director’s stubbornness to make a fun movie. What’s certain is that you’ll see something that you haven’t seen in Korean movies so far,” with confidence.

The first poster shows Lee Jung Hyun, Seo Young Hee, and Lee Mi Do holding weapons to kill Lee Jung Hyun’s husband, the “Unbreakable,” played by Kim Sung Oh. Each of them shows a strong will by holding a shovel, knife, and gun.

The second poster of the five shows the confrontation between Kim Sung Oh, who holds a gas pump, and the four characters who express each individual’s individuality. It heralds a variety of nightly festivals with images such as a round moon, UFO flying in the sky, and a copy of “The night is short, so do your best.“

The first trailer catches the eye with an unprecedented oil-drinking performance of Kim Sung Oh. From unpredictable situations, to humor and action, the one-minute trailer stimulates curiosity.
