Yoo Yeon Seok talked about how he felt when he was offered the role of the North Korean leader in the upcoming movie Steel Rain 2: Summit.

In the latest episode of KBS2’s Movies Are Good, which aired on July 11, the “Dizzying Interview” of actor Jung Woo Sung, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Kwok Do Won of the movie Steel Rain 2: Summit was featured.

During the interview, Yoo Yeon Seok laughed as he said, “I thought it was a typo when my name was written next to the role of the North Korean leader. I thought, ‘Not Kwon Do Won, but me?’ I asked again, and they told me I was the one.”

Upon hearing this, Jung Woo Sung added, “Yoo Yeon Seok filmed ‘Steel Rain 2: Summit’ before worked on ‘Hospital Playlist.’ Personally, I thought it was a perfect casting,” showing his support to Yoo Yeon Seok.

Meanwhile, Steel Rain 2: Summit depicts a crisis near the brink of war after three leaders are kidnapped and held in a North Korean nuclear submarine when the coup d’état is carried out during a summit between the two Koreas and the United States. It will be released on July 29.
