Actor Yang Se Jong will join the military to serve his compulsory military service.
On April 30, it was reported that actor Yang Se Jong recently received his enlistment date. He has been known to be on a break this year for his military service. Now that the exact date has been notified, he will join the army on May 12.
After appearing in a short film in 2013, he made his face known in 2016 through Saimdang, Light’s Diary, and Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim. Then with Duel, he rose to stardom, only taking lead roles since then. He had shown impressive performances in Temperature of Love and Thirty But Seventeen.
Yang Se Jong won the Best New Actor Award in the 54th Baeksang Arts Awards back in 2018. Recently, he successfully led the blockbuster drama, My Country: The New Age, establishing himself as a “go-to” actor.
