Singer and actor Park So Jin has confirmed her appearance in the new independent film Zombie Crush: Heyri (literal translation).
Zombie Crush: Heyri is a film that depicts the journey of the female trio to solve the incident in Heyri Art Village in Paju as zombies appear. Park So Jin will play the role of Kim Ga Yeon, one of the trio, with unpredictable and whimsical personality. She started various business after having brilliant ideas, but always fails, and ended up running a small cafe in Heyri Art Village.
This marks her third appearance on independent film since The Swallow and Recipe for Happiness. With The Swallow, she started her acting career in earnest, and with Recipe for Happiness, she was officially invited to the 23rd Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival and the 19th Kaohsiung Film Festival in Taiwan, drawing attention with her delicate and elegant performances.
Previously, she appeared in SBS’s Stove League and showed stable performances. Then she starred in recently-ended play Shall We Talk at a Karaoke? (literal translation), returning to the stage after two years.
Meanwhile, Park So Jin will soon appear on the upcoming episode of SBS’s The King: Eternal Monarch, playing the role of Cho Hae In, a psychiatrist.
