On March 8, Fallen received an Honourable Mention of the Jury.

Director Lee got on stage with Yang Ji, Jang Tae Yong, Choi Won Young and Jung Dong Sun, and said, “I am grateful for the great support and energy I received with this small independent film, even though it was a new challenge with the new actors.” He added, “This festival is like the gateway of great directors like Perter Jackson and Guillermo del Toro, not to mention great Korean directors like Park Chan Wook and Bong Joon Ho.”

He then went on to say, “With these new actors here, I will not give up and move on to direct more good works.”

The judges praised the film saying, “We were deeply moved by the sophisticated SF thriller, which is hard to find in Asian films, and the story of a woman with an unpredictable twist and warmth.”

Irish director Cashell Horgan was deeply impressed by Fallen, and offered director Lee a new script and co-production for his next film. Actor Yang Ji also signed the contract for the leading role.

Fallen is a SF thriller in which a kidnapped best-selling author confronts the enemy by using her imagination for survival in an enclosed space.
