The upcoming film Peninsula, sequel of the 2016 mega hit Train to Busan, has finally unveiled its first teaser posters in the world as a start of the worldwide promotion.

Peninsula, which is set to be released this summer, is an action blockbuster about the survivors isolated in a devastated city and their last one fight against the zombie mobs. The time employed in this film is 4 years after the nationwide prevalence of zombies described in Train to Busan. Yeon Sang Ho, who directed Train to Busan, is returning as a director of Peninsula with the new cast including Gang Dong Won, Lee Jung Hyun, Lee Re, Kwon Hae Hyo, Kim Min Jae, Goo Kyo Hwan, Kim Do Yoon and Lee Ye Won.

On Feb. 28, The movie’s distributor NEW (NEXT ENTERTAINMENT WORLD CO. LTD.) and production company Red Peter Film, which both participated in making Train to Busan as well, released two teaser posters of Peninsula. The first poster, showing a ruined harbor under the moon, delivers a high tension with many zombies surrounding the main character. On the other hand, the second one focuses on Jung Seok (acted by Gang Dong Won) and Min Jung (acted by Lee Jung Hyun), who are ready to fight back against the zombies, in the downtown area under the sun.
