Park Min Young talked about how she prepared for her role in upcoming drama Love in Contract.
The upcoming rom-com series is about a service that provides fake wives for single people who need partners to bring to social gatherings, such as school reunions and dinners for married couples. The story unfolds as Choi Sang Eun (played by� Park Min Young), a professional wife-for-hire, meets a new client named Kang Hae Jin (Kim Jae Young), who wants her for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays while she is on a long-term contract with Jung Ji Ho (Go Kyung Pyo)�for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
She revealed the reason she joined the cast, saying, “I’ve never played a role like this before. I found her job fascinating and thought there might be people like her out there.” She continued, “I wanted to play the character in the most plausible way so that viewers can really understand why she chose to do what she does.”
Choi Sang Eun is an athletic and musically talented woman who speaks five different languages. And to play such a character, Park Min Young is reportedly practicing various musical instruments and spending a lot of time in the gym. She said, “I had so much to prepare for the role. Although I cannot speak those five languages like native speakers, I tried to enjoy the moment while shooting .”
Regarding the chemistry with her co-stars, she stated, “Go Kyung Pyo has a very upbeat personality. So he and I get along pretty well. I enjoy working with him.” She added, “Kim Young Jae has a unique sense of humor, and I love all of his jokes. I think viewers will enjoy the chemistry we will build as we all have different charms.”
Love in Contract will premiere on October 21st.
