Lovelyz’s Mijoo is getting ready for her solo debut.
On the 25th, media outlets reported that Mijoo is preparing for her solo debut. Her label Antenna told Xportsnews, “It’s true that she’s working on her solo debut, but the date and concept are still under discussion. We’ll announce the information once it’s confirmed.”
Having debuted in 2014 as the main dancer of Lovelyz, she sang multiple hit songs, including “Ah-Choo,” “Destiny,” and “When We Were Us.” But last November, the group officially disbanded, and Mijoo signed a contract with Antenna, a label that manages Yoo Jae Suk, You Hee Yeol, Jung Jae Hyung, Sam Kim, Kwon Jin Ah, and more.
At the time, Antenna shared, “We plan to give our full support so Mijoo can showcase her talents to the fullest.” Mijoo also said, “Antenna’s motto – good people, good music and good laugh – matches the picture that I want to draw.
