IU will hold a mini-concert on KBS’s music program, You Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.

According to a media outlet, today’s recording of You Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook will be conducted as IU’s special episode.

This special episode was planned to mark IU’s 12th anniversary. IU made her debut on Sept. 18, 2008, on Mnet’s M Countdown. Since then, she has swept the K-pop scene with multiple hit songs, including “Good Day,” “YOU&I,” “Friday,” “Twenty-Three,” “Palette,” “Blueming,” and “BBIBBI.”

From her rookie days, IU kept a good relationship with You Hee Yeol, the host of the show. It is said that You Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook has prepared a stage only for IU to celebrate her 12th anniversary. At the specially prepared mini-concert, IU will present a variety of performances.

Earlier, the production team drew attention by announcing IU’s appearance on its official SNS, along with a message, “Send us your stories and the song requests among IU’s songs.”

Meanwhile, IU’s special episode will air on Sept. 18, the same day the singer made her debut.
