Byeon Woo Seok is opening up about the pressure that comes with rising expectations as he prepares for his next projects.
On February 13th, Harper’s Bazaar Korea unveiled a March pictorial and interview featuring Byeon Woo Seok in collaboration with Italian luxury brand Prada. The shoot took place in Milan, where he wore pieces from Prada’s 2026 spring/summer collection.
In the interview, Byeon spoke about his upcoming projects Perfect Crown and Solo Leveling. “I think the more love I receive, the higher the expectations become,” he said. “I do worry about not being able to meet them, but that kind of fear pushes me to work even harder.”

He also shared his approach to acting. “No matter how much I act, it feels hard to ever reach a point where I can say I’ve done well,” he said. “Effort may not be everything, but I believe it’s most of it. When I spend time reading the script dozens of times and studying the character, I feel freer in front of the camera.”
Reflecting on filming in Milan, he added, “The shoot truly captured the atmosphere of Milan. The outdoor shoot on the streets evoked the city’s unique rhythm and energy, and the courtyard with its large plants was particularly striking. It felt like a perfect fit for Prada’s calm yet tense mood.”

With two highly anticipated projects on the horizon and a growing global profile, Byeon Woo Seok is embracing both the pressure and the momentum as he steps into his next chapter.
