Netflix has dropped the main poster and trailer for its upcoming survival competition Physical: Asia, teasing a no-mercy showdown among elite athletes from eight countries across the continent.

The poster spotlights a powerhouse lineup: boxing icon Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines exudes championship aura beside Australia’s former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker. Korea’s own Kim Dong Hyun—the nation’s first UFC fighter—appears mid-celebration, while Mongolia’s wrestling champion Orkhonbayar Bayarsaikhan, dubbed a modern-day descendant of Genghis Khan, stands proud.

Thai actor-athlete James Rusameekae, known as “the King Kong of Thailand,” adds flair, and Turkey’s world champion wrestler Yasemin Adar Yiğit displays brute strength, effortlessly lifting a massive weight. Completing the roster are Japan’s former national wrestler Nonoka Ozaki and Indonesia’s jiu-jitsu fighter Fina Philip, both ready to prove their power.

The trailer ramps up the intensity, showing athletes from Korea, Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, Turkey, Indonesia, Australia, and the Philippines pushing past exhaustion in a country-versus-country clash. Contestants drag colossal loads, hang from metal rings, and scream rallying cries like, “We’re representing our country—it’s an all-out war!” and “There’s no country I want to avoid. We can beat them all.”

As the first international edition of Netflix’s hit Physical series, Physical: Asia gathers legends from diverse disciplines—including Korean and Mongolian wrestling, Thai Muay Thai, and Turkish oil wrestling—for a massive global face-off. Each team brings its own strategy, pride, and cultural identity to the arena.

Director Jang Ho Gi said, “We’ve designed a much wider range of quests this season so that athletes from different sports and body types can showcase their peak performance. We also prepared some unexpected twists for contestants who’ve studied last season’s games closely,” adding, “Though this season focuses on team competition, there will also be key matchups that highlight individual strength.”

Physical: Asia premieres worldwide on Netflix on October 28th.
