BTS Comeback on the Horizon as RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook Prepare for Return

A full-group BTS comeback is just around the corner as RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook are ready to complete their military service.

RM and V will return to civilian life on June 10th, having served in the 15th Infantry Division’s military band and the 2nd Corps Military Police Special Forces, respectively.

Jimin and Jungkook will be discharged from the 5th Infantry Division on June 11th. Their agency urged fans to refrain from visiting the site due to safety concerns.

BTS entered a hiatus in June 2022 after releasing their anthology album Proof. Jin enlisted in December 2022 and was discharged in 2024.

The other members focused on solo projects. J-Hope released his debut solo album Jack In The Box before enlisting. RM dropped his first solo album Indigo and released his second album Right Place, Wrong Person while serving. Jimin gifted fans two solo albums: FACE (mini-album) and MUSE (second mini-album). Suga released his debut album D-DAY under his alias Agust D. Jungkook achieved a mega-hit with his first album GOLDEN. V presented his debut mini-album Layover, showcasing a freer musical style distinct from the group’s work.

BTS is poised for a new peak post-hiatus. Discharged in June and October last year,  in and J-Hope have been active in variety shows, new releases and tours. With RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook finishing their service around the same time, excitement for a full-group comeback is building. Suga is expected to be discharged on June 21st.

Meanwhile, BTS will celebrate their 12th debut anniversary on June 13th with a two-week BTS FESTA event.
