A representative from Gyeonggi Provincial Police Department confirmed with media outlet ‘Sports World‘ on February 27th, that B.I. tested negative in his illegal drug use evaluation.
The former iKON member had gone through a 14-hour police questioning session back in September of last year, in which he was asked about accusations made by acquaintance A in 2016. B.I. admitted to some of A’s accusations, which resulted in more questioning by the police over the course of 7 additional investigative sessions.
It was revealed that he had undergone different evaluations through hair follicles that were sent to the National Forensics Department, and that there had been no illegal drug substances found. It was also reported that the case was to be forwarded to prosecution sometime soon.
