On May 18th, Kai wrapped up the second night of his first-ever solo concert, 2025 KAI SOLO CONCERT TOUR <KAION>, at Seoul’s Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium—and it was a night to remember.

Held across two days, the 17th and 18th, the concert marked a major milestone in Kai’s solo career. Both nights sold out completely, drawing a total of around 9,000 fans and proving that his star power shines just as brightly on his own.

Kai opened the show with a haunting solo performance of “Sinner” in front of a mirror set. After completing the next two songs, he took a moment to explain the concert’s title. “Kaion is a blend of my name and the Greek word ‘Aion,’ meaning eternity. It reflects my desire to be with you all forever,” he explained. With visible emotion, he added, “So don’t go anywhere—stay by my side, always.”

Midway through the show, Kai surprised the crowd with an EXO medley featuring “My Lady,” “Baby Don’t Cry,” and “Angel.” The choreography-focused performance, enhanced by the fans’ collective singing, created a perfect harmony between Kai and the audience.

“How did it feel hearing EXO songs again?” he asked after the set. “Dancing to those tracks while hearing your voices brought back so many memories. It felt like reliving everything we’ve experienced since debut.”

The night’s emotional peak came when fellow EXO members Suho, Chanyeol, and D.O. were spotted in the crowd. “They really are the best,” Kai said with a smile. “Thanks to their support, I prepared for this show with confidence,” he said, adding, “They even sent me encouraging messages before the concert. It helped ease my nervousness a bit.”

Closing out the performance, Kai thanked fans with heartfelt sincerity: “I don’t think I’ll ever forget today. Let’s keep making memories together and stay happy.” He also gave fans something to look forward to. “Sehun is coming back soon, and with that, EXO’s military hiatus will officially be over. Nothing’s stopping us now.”
