The third week of the 2025 Circle Chart saw global icons Rosé, Bruno Mars, and G-Dragon, along with rising star Park Ji Hyeon, claim top spots.
The Korea Music Content Association revealed that Rosé and Bruno Mars dominated the Global K-pop Chart during the third week of January. G-Dragon and Park Ji Hyeon also each secured two top positions on the Circle Chart.
Rosé and Bruno Mars continued their reign at the top of the Global K-pop Chart with “APT.,” marking 13 consecutive weeks at number one.
G-Dragon claimed first place on both the Digital and Streaming Charts with his song “HOME SWEET HOME (feat. Taeyang, Daesung).”
Rising star Park Ji Hyeon made an impressive debut, topping both the Retail Album Chart (210,299 albums sold) and the Album Chart (248,488 albums sold) with his album OCEAN. OCEAN is Park Ji Hyeon’s first mini-album and features five tracks, including the title track “Man of the Sea.”
IVE secured two top positions with “REBEL HEART,” ranking first on the Download Chart and the V Coloring Chart. “REBEL HEART” is the pre-release title track from IVE’s third EP album, IVE EMPATHY.
Hwang Ga Ram enjoyed multi-chart success with “I’m a Firefly,” topping the Ringtone, Caller Ring and Karaoke Charts.
The Social Chart 2.0, a key indicator of global K-pop popularity, saw Jung Jae Il, renowned for his work on the Squid Game soundtrack, maintain his leading position for the second consecutive week. MyCelebs highlighted keywords like “storm-like,” “versatile musician,” and “honored with the highest accolades” as key factors contributing to Jung Jae Il’s sustained popularity. D experienced a significant rise in their Social Chart ranking during the third week.
New entries on the Global K-pop Chart included IVE’s “REBEL HEART,” making a strong debut at number seven.
