Park Bo Gum and Shin Ye Eun will no longer star together in upcoming drama Night Traveler (literal title).
According to industry sources on September 28th, the drama had completed much of its main casting last year and had been in talks to secure a broadcaster, but those negotiations ultimately fell through. With production delayed, both Park and Shin have reportedly decided to step away from the project.
Night Traveler is the latest project from writer Yoon Ji Ryun, known for Boys Over Flowers and Move to Heaven. Park and Shin were set to headline the romance, but the pairing will no longer move forward.
Both actors remain busy with other projects. Shin most recently starred as nurse Yook Ha Ri in ENA drama Doctor on the Edge, which ended in July.
Park recently reunited with fans through a 10th anniversary special for Love in the Moonlight and is set to return with the second season of variety show The Village Barber in November. He also has the films Canvas of Blood and The Sword: Rebirth of the Red Wolf awaiting release.
