Cha Woo Min was treated in the emergency room after being injured while filming an action scene for TVING’s drama series Study Group Season 2.
Ten Asia reported on July 8th that Cha Woo Min injured his ribs and hand while performing a fight scene. He was taken to the emergency room for treatment but has since recovered and returned to the set.
A production source said the accident occurred while filming one of the drama’s major action sequences.
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, Study Group is a high school action drama that follows Yoon Ga Min, played by Hwang Min Hyun, a student who wants to excel academically but is only talented at fighting. A second season was confirmed following the success of the first installment. Cha Woo Min plays a major role in the series alongside Hwang Min Hyun and Han Ji Eun.
Cha Woo Min made his acting debut in the 2021 web drama The Tasty Florida and has since appeared in Weak Hero Class 1, Night Has Come and Buried Hearts. He is also set to star in the upcoming tvN drama My Bias, My Boss alongside Kang Hoon, as well as Solo Leveling with Byeon Woo Seok.
