Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival is bringing major star power to its 22nd edition.
Jung Hae In, Choi Sooyoung, Cho Jung Seok, Shim Eun Kyung and Lee Min Ho have officially been named honorary judges for this year’s festival.
Known as Korea’s only genre-focused short film festival, the Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival has long served as a launchpad for emerging directors and actors in the Korean film industry.
This year’s event will also feature filmmaker Lee Byung Hun as jury president alongside an impressive lineup of section judges, including directors Kim Do Yeong, Kim Hyung Joo, Oh Seung Uk, Lee Ok Sub, Namkoong Sun, Hwang Dong Hyuk, Hong Eui Jeong, Kim Byung Woo and Park Nu Ri.
Each honorary judge will oversee a different genre section.
Jung Hae In will represent the “Take Care of My Cat” section, while Choi Sooyoung joins “Jealousy Is My Middle Name.” Jo Jung Suk will serve as honorary judge for the comedy-focused “No Manners” section, Shim Eun Kyung will lead the horror and mystery category “Epitaph,” and Lee Min Ho will oversee the action-thriller section “Nowhere to Hide.”

The festival praised the actors for building distinct careers across a wide range of genres and said their participation is expected to bring fresh attention to rising filmmakers and short-form storytelling.
Netflix returns this year as the festival’s main sponsor, while Naver joins as a media partner supporting audience outreach and content discovery.
The 22nd Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival will run from June 18th to June 23rd at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Seoul.
