Rumors are swirling that Chinese actress Tang Wei may be expecting her second child after she was spotted with a visible baby bump at a recent event.
On April 26th, Chinese media outlets reported that the Decision to Leave star attended a brand event in Shanghai, where her pregnancy silhouette was clearly on display. Despite wearing an oversized, loose-fitting black trench coat, photos circulating on social media show a prominent bump that fans say is impossible to hide.
This isn’t the first time fans have suspected a pregnancy. Speculation actually began back in March during an event in Beijing. Fellow actress Ni Ni was caught on camera whispering to Tang Wei while glancing at her stomach. Ni Ni was also seen acting protectively toward her, reportedly asking fans not to crowd or push Tang Wei, which many took as a sign that she was looking out for an expectant mother.
Tang Wei’s team has yet to officially address the rumors.
Now 47, Tang Wei famously married South Korean director Kim Tae Yong in 2014 after the two met on the set of the film Late Autumn. The couple currently shares one daughter.
