Netflix has confirmed the production of its new series, Long Vacation, and revealed the casting of Choo Young Woo and Lee Se Young.
Long Vacation tells the story of Demon No. 3375, who has lived with immense powers for a long time. He heads to Korea for a new mission. While staying at a hotel in a seaside village, he becomes entangled with a room attendant named Lee Deul Pan, and begins to experience emotions and attractions he never understood before.
The series will be directed by Lee Jung Hyo, known for Crash Landing on You. The script will be written by Jung Hyun Jung, who previously worked on Discovery of Love and In Need of Romance.
The casting lineup for Long Vacation is also noteworthy.
Choo Young Woo, who has appeared in The Trauma Code: Heroes on call and Head Over Heels, will play the role of Demon No. 3375. This demon, accustomed to always obtaining what he desires, has lived without understanding the emotion of love. However, he undergoes unfamiliar changes after meeting the human Lee Deul Pan.
Lee Se Young, from the dramas The Red Sleeve and What Comes After Love, will take on the role of Lee Deul Pan. Possessing a strong sense of reality and resilience ,Lee Deul Pan repeatedly crosses paths with Demon No. 3375, who appears as a hotel’s VVVIP. Her heart begins to sway in unexpected directions.
Long Vacation, a realistic human romance that builds upon the unique theme of a ‘demon’ with relatable human emotions, will be released exclusively on Netflix.
