Netflix’s romantic comedy series Boyfriend on Demand is gaining even more momentum in its second week of release.

According to Netflix’s Tudum Top 10 website on March 18th, the series has climbed to No. 1 on the Global Top 10 Non-English TV list. The show has also entered the Top 10 charts in 47 countries, including Brazil, Mexico, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Maldives, Nigeria, Egypt and Pakistan.

The series recorded 4.8 million views and 47.8 million hours watched worldwide, maintaining the No. 1 spot for total viewing hours for the second consecutive week.

The show’s popularity is also reflected in domestic buzz rankings. According to Good Data Corporation’s Fundex chart for the second week of March, Boyfriend on Demand ranked No. 1 in overall TV-OTT drama buzz for the second week in a row. Its stars are also drawing strong attention. Jisoo ranked No. 1 in the performer popularity category, while Seo In Guk followed at No. 2.

Much of the excitement centers on the chemistry between the two leads. Newly released stills highlight the evolving dynamic between Mi Rae, played by Jisoo, and Kyung Nam, played by Seo In Guk, as well as Seo In Guk’s second character, Goo Young Il.

The pair move from bickering co-workers to a sweet office romance, grounding the show’s fantasy premise of a “virtual dating subscription service” with emotional realism. Jisoo’s lively character work and Seo In Guk’s dual-role performance have both been widely praised for adding depth and charm to the series.

The show has also generated buzz for its lineup of cameos. Seo Kang Joon plays Eun Ho, a charismatic campus heartthrob tied to a first-love trope. Lee Soo Hyuk appears as Si Woo, a wealthy heir who seems straight out of a webtoon. Kim Sung Cheol portrays Mi Rae’s ex-boyfriend Se Joon, bringing a bittersweet emotional layer to the story.

Lee Jae Wook appears as a charming doctor, while Lee Hyun Wook takes on the role of a polished judge. Kim Young Dae also makes a memorable appearance as a character from the Joseon era. Additional appearances by Ong Seong Wu, Jay Park, and Lee Sang Yi have further boosted interest in the series.
