Jung Ho Yeon is the latest cover star for W Korea Vol. 3, proving once again why she is a global fashion and cinematic icon.
In the new pictorial, she effortlessly pulls off a high-luxury aesthetic, posing with elegant trunks and handbags. Her look is defined by a striking contrast: bold red lips paired with soft, pink-toned makeup and her signature restrained expressions.
In the accompanying interview, Jung opened up about her deep-seated passion for her craft. “Acting is so fun. So much so that I wonder if it’s okay to have this much fun,” she admitted. Since her breakout role in Netflix’s Squid Game in 2021, she has transitioned seamlessly into Hollywood. She recently took on her first English-speaking role in Alfonso Cuarón’s Apple TV Plus series Disclaimer and has joined upcoming U.S. projects like The Governesses and Hope.
Despite her international demand, Jung remains a powerhouse in the Korean film scene, recently working on Kim Jee Woon’s The Hole and Na Hong Jin’s Hope.
Speaking on her experience with director Na, whom she has long admired, she shared, “I prepared for it fiercely, and it was a project I really enjoyed filming.” She expressed her hope that audiences feel that same joy when Hope finally hits screens, adding, “It’s so much fun to discover and express new sides of myself in different environments.”
