Netflix is bringing a new romantic film to the screen with Messily Ever After (working title), starring Kim Min Ha and Noh Sang Hyun.
The upcoming movie follows a long-term couple who have been together for 10 years, capturing the messy, relatable ups and downs of a relationship where they love each other fiercely and fight just as intensely.
Kim Min Ha plays Soo Hyun, a talented curator who strives for perfection in her career but falls apart when it comes to love and jealousy. Noh Sang Hyun stars as Hyun Tae, an installation artist who has been in a decade-long relationship with Soo Hyun and lives by his own strong beliefs and artistic convictions.
The two characters first meet as college classmates at an arts campus, falling in love at first sight and continuing their passionate relationship for years. Even after a decade together, they remain deeply in love—and just as capable of driving each other crazy—setting the stage for a chaotic yet heartfelt romance.

Kim Min Ha and Noh Sang Hyun previously showcased their emotional chemistry in Pachinko, and they reunite in Messily Ever After as a couple so in sync they can read each other’s feelings at a glance. Their dynamic is expected to bring a grounded, real-couple energy to the film.
The project will be directed by rising filmmaker Seo Jung Min, a graduate of Korea National University of Arts, and produced by Bombaram Film, the company behind Kim Ji Young, Born 1982 and Love Untangled. Messily Ever After will be released exclusively on Netflix.
