BLACKPINK’s Jennie made a guest appearance on the final episode of the hit dating reality series EXchange 4.
Jennie appeared on the January 21st episode of the TVING show, joining the panel as a special guest for the finale. Host Simon Dominic revealed how her appearance came together, saying, “Jennie and I message sometimes. I asked if she was enjoying the show, and she said, ‘It’s so much fun. Can’t I come on?’ So I asked her, ‘Can you really?’”
Jennie shared her excitement about being on set, saying, “I loved it. It was the best. Being here right now feels so strange, like I’ve stepped inside the TV.”
When Lee Yong Jin jokingly asked whether Simon Dominic had spoiled anything for her, Jennie laughed it off. “Not at all. He just said, ‘If you’re that curious, come on the show.’ I totally got talked into it.”
She also mentioned recognizing a familiar song while watching the series. Jennie said she noticed cast member Seung Yong singing “DDU DU DDU DU,” adding, “I was watching without any expectations, and then a BLACKPINK song came on. It made me weirdly happy.”
As a guest, Jennie watched the cast members make their final decisions and showed deep emotional engagement throughout the episode, offering warm support during the emotionally charged moments that closed out the season.
Reflecting on the experience, Jennie said, “It’s a show that always gives you dopamine. I was so happy to be part of the Season 4 finale, and now I’m already looking forward to Season 5.”
