Former JYP Trainee and ‘Boys II Planet’ Star Taichi Joins Queer Dating Show ‘His Man 4’

Former JYP trainee Taichi has been confirmed as a cast member for the upcoming season of dating reality show His Man.

Streaming platform Wavve announced Taichi’s participation in His Man Season 4 on January 19th. The show is notable for being South Korea’s first-ever reality program dedicated to showcasing romantic relationships among LGBTQ people.

Taichi, who is Japanese, first gained recognition as a trainee at JYP Entertainment. He appeared on global audition series Nizi Project Season 2 in 2023 and competed on Mnet’s popular boy group survival show Boys II Planet last year, where he finished in 33rd place.

Fans are eager to see a new side of the former idol hopeful as he searches for love on the groundbreaking show.

His Man Season 4 will be released exclusively on Wavve, airing two episodes every Friday starting January 23rd.
