Junho offered fans a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes dynamics with his Typhoon Family co-stars following the drama’s finale.
He reflected on filming romantic scenes with Kim Min Ha, admitting it had been a while since he worked in that genre. “I was shooting romantic scenes for the first time in seven or eight months,” Junho recalled. “I was a bit nervous at first… but once I got into character, all my worries disappeared.”
He highlighted the “power of pauses” in moments where the characters’ emotions were quietly building. “There’s a scene where my character walks Min Ha’s character home and says, ‘Thank you.’ There’s obvious awkwardness between them, but the silence came naturally,” he explained. “Those unplanned pauses with Kim Min Ha slipped in so smoothly, like air.”
Junho shared that he was especially pleased with their on-screen rhythm — and that Kim felt the same way.

He also recounted a charming behind-the-scenes moment: he found out late in filming that Kim Min Ha is actually a longtime member of 2PM’s fan club, Hottest.
“I thought she was just being polite, but it was real. I was so grateful,” he said with a laugh. “She feels like a comfortable friend when we talk, but then I hear she was a student when I was actively promoting, and it feels surreal. Stories about people growing up watching me are only now starting to hit me.”
Junho also talked about the playful “frenemy” chemistry with Moo Jin Sung, who played his rival Pyo Hyun Joon. “They bark at each other every time they meet, but they never actually fight,” he said. “Our faces were so close while shooting those scenes that it was hard not to laugh.”

He added that diving deeper into how their characters became rivals could make for a fun spin-off.
As for the possibility of a Season 2, Junho stayed cautiously optimistic. “I really enjoyed the fast-paced banter between the characters in Typhoon Family. Even among the cast, we’ve talked about how fun it would be if the series kept going,” he shared.
He wrapped up with a lighthearted joke about the writer’s future ideas. “The writer, surprisingly, came up with a whole biography for CEO Kang Jin Young. So I joked, ‘Then I wouldn’t be in it, right?’”
