Netflix just dropped the main poster and trailer for Cashero, its hilariously relatable new superhero series starring Junho.
The show follows Sang Ung, a paycheck-to-paycheck office worker scrambling to save up for a wedding and a home—until he suddenly gains a strange power: he gets stronger depending on how much cash he’s holding. Forced to choose between paying bills and saving strangers, he becomes the ultimate cash-powered everyday hero.
The main poster says it all. With a bruised face, ripped clothes, and coins spilling through the air, Lee Junho’s Sang Ung looks more exhausted than heroic. Behind him are his startled girlfriend Min Suk (Kim Hye Jun), the booze-fueled wall-phaser Byeon Ho In (Kim Byung Chul), and calorie-powered telekinetic Bang Eun Mi (Kim Hyang Gi).

The trailer opens with Sang Ung and Min Suk staring in horror as wads of cash scatter every time he uses his power. “I’m not some kind of pushover! I don’t want to!” he protests—perfectly capturing the absurd curveballs life throws when you’re already stretched thin. Min Suk begs him to stop burning through money, but danger keeps finding him.
Soon, the Society of Korean Superhumans steps in—followed by the villainous Mundane Vanguard, including Jonathan (Lee Chae Min), Jo Anna (Kang Hanna), and Jo Won Do (Kim Eui Sung). With teammates who gain powers from drinking or eating and enemies who hunt supers, Sang Ung ends up fighting crime with nothing but grit… and whatever cash is left in his pocket.
“Do you know what’s stronger than a superpower in modern society? It’s power,” Jo Anna tells him—a jab that hits especially hard for a hero whose strength literally depends on his wallet.
Sang Ung’s tired confession—”How do superheroes even beat the bad guys, keep a family, and hold down a job?”—cements Cashero as a refreshingly down-to-earth take on the genre.
Cashero premieres December 26th, only on Netflix.
