BTS star Jungkook has been tapped as the very first face of Rolling Stone’s new global project—a landmark collaboration between the magazine’s Korea, U.K., and Japan editions.
According to Big Hit Music on December 9th, Rolling Stone unveiled Jungkook’s exclusive cover photos, marking the first time in the magazine’s history that the three countries teamed up on a joint project. Selected as its debut cover star, Jungkook once again underscored his stature as a true global pop powerhouse.
Jungkook fronts the print covers for Rolling Stone Korea, Rolling Stone U.K., and Rolling Stone Japan. Inside, fans will find a full interview exploring his recent activities, artistic direction, and creative vision.
Notably, Jungkook is the first Korean solo artist ever to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone U.K. His shoot also rolled out as a digital cover across the U.S., France, India, the Philippines, and China editions—bringing his total to eight simultaneous print and digital covers worldwide.

“It feels like the start of a new leap,” Jungkook shared in the interview. “I want to keep evolving by trying new things. I hope to show all the different sides within me. Rather than being swept along by the flow, I want to be the kind of artist who creates the flow—an artist without limits.”
Meanwhile, Jungkook recently surpassed 10 billion cumulative Spotify streams under his name—the first Korean soloist ever to hit the milestone. His solo single “Seven (feat. Latto)” also crossed 2.6 billion streams, making it the most-streamed single by any Korean artist to date.
