Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin are turning up the heat as their characters grow undeniably closer in SBS’s Wednesday–Thursday drama Dynamite Kiss.
Episode 5, which aired on the 26th, marked the first real shift in the delicate emotional flow between Gong Ji Hyuk (Jang Ki Yong) and Go Da Rim (Ahn Eun Jin). As the two find themselves unable to express their true feelings, the love square officially kicks into motion.
New stills released today from Episode 6 capture a moment that brings the pair physically and emotionally closer. Sitting side by side in front of a small shop on a quiet night street, Go Da Rim gently dozes off against Gong Ji Hyuk’s shoulder. The charged atmosphere between them recalls their chaotic first-episode “dynamite kiss,” heightening the tension even further. Their mutual affection—paired with their inability to openly express it—continues to deepen viewer immersion.
According to the production team, Episode 6 will feature Go Da Rim’s tipsy confession, when she tells Ji Hyuk, “I’m going to let myself waver just until tonight.” They added, “This confession triggers a major shift in Ji Hyuk’s feelings—caught between getting closer and pulling away.”
They continued, “Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin will deliver a tender yet chilly kind of romance, quite different from the light, bright tone they’ve shown before. Viewers’ heart rates are definitely going up.”
