Lee Jang Woo and Jo Hye Won officially tied the knot on November 23rd, celebrating their seven-year relationship with a private wedding at a hotel in Seoul.

While the ceremony was an intimate affair attended only by family and close friends, the couple’s choice of wedding gifts has drawn significant attention online. Guests were gifted boxes of Hodu-gwaja (traditional Korean walnut cakes) from Buchang Confectionery, a brand under FG. These treats are popularly known in Korea as “Lee Jang Woo’s Hodu-gwaja,” as the actor serves as the brand’s ambassador.

The packaging was specially customized for the event, featuring a bright illustration of the smiling couple and a message that read: “We extend our deepest gratitude for your warm presence. Please enjoy these sweet Hodu-gwaja from Buchang Confectionery, baked with love.”

FG reportedly produced the custom favors to honor their long-standing partnership with the actor. On social media, the company stated, “It is a great honor to convey our sweetest sentiments on such a special day. We wish the couple endless happiness and love.” Notably, this walnut cake brand recently garnered international attention as an official “K-Dessert” served to global leaders at the 32nd APEC Summit.

The wedding also served as a reunion for the cast of the hit variety show I Live Alone. Jun Hyun Moo officiated the ceremony, while webtoon artist and TV personality Gian84 served as the emcee. The celebratory song was performed by R&B singer Hwanhee of Fly to the Sky, who is also Lee Jang Woo’s cousin.

The couple first met while filming the KBS2 drama My Only One and began dating shortly after. They publicly confirmed their relationship in June 2023.

This past August, Lee Jang Woo candidly discussed his motivation for marriage on his YouTube channel. “I am getting married specifically because I want to have children,” he revealed. “I have a humble dream of raising a large family, eating meals together, and cutting their food for them while asking, ‘Isn’t this delicious?’
