JYP Entertainment—helmed by Chief Creative Officer and head producer J.Y Park—has been named No. 1 worldwide on TIME magazine’s World’s Best Companies in Sustainable Growth 2026, securing the top domestic ranking for the second year in a row.
Announced on November 12th (local time) by TIME and German market-analysis firm Statista, JYP earned an exceptional score of 97.59, placing first among 500 global companies. The evaluation considered growth rate, financial stability, and environmental impact, with JYP standing out across all indicators. Last year, the company ranked No. 1 in Korea and No. 3 globally with a score of 93.66, but its rise to No. 1 worldwide this year further reinforces its leadership in sustainable management.
Statista noted, “What’s clear is that JYP performs exceptionally well in every category. Many companies excel in one area but fall short in others—JYP is one of the rare companies strong in both financial and environmental performance.”
TIME’s ranking highlights companies that maintain strong financial health while achieving outstanding results in sustainable development, with final scores calculated equally from revenue growth, financial stability, and environmental impact.

In 2022, JYP became the first Korean entertainment company to join RE100 and fully transition its energy use to renewable sources. This June, the company published its fourth sustainability report, outlining its continued ESG initiatives. CEO Jung Wook emphasized JYP’s mission to be a “Leader of Change,” pledging to embed sustainability and diversity into the company’s core and actively address climate issues.
At the end of last year, JYP also earned the highest “AA” grade in Sustinvest’s 2024 ESG evaluation—the only Korean entertainment company to receive the top rating.
Beyond corporate strategy, JYP continues to expand its CSR efforts under the slogan “Every Dream Matters!” with programs supporting children with critical illnesses and environmental projects like “Love Earth,” reaffirming its commitment to giving back to fans and society.
