EXO’s D.O. (also known as Do Kyung Soo) has found a new agency. Blitzway Entertainment announced on November 5th that they signed an exclusive contract with the singer.
This move comes as D.O. departs Company SooSoo, the agency he founded in November 2023 with his longtime former manager from SM Entertainment. He has decided not to renew his contract after two years of working together.
Blitzway is a powerhouse agency, home to top actors such as Ju Ji Hoon, Chun Woo Hee, Jung Ryeo Won, and Chae Jong Hyeop. The company stated that it is fully prepared to support D.O career, citing its recent acquisition of the music label KLAP. A representative remarked, “Through our music management system, we will fully support his acting, group activities and solo albums.”
However, the split from his old agency is complicated. COMPANY SOOSOO, named after D.O., was his personal label, and reports have surfaced that he still owns 50% of the company. He has reportedly requested to maintain this 50% stake, even though he is no longer a client.
In response, an official from Company SooSoo cautiously stated, “It is true that Do Kyung Soo holds 50% of our company’s shares. However, it is difficult to confirm whether he requested to maintain this stake after his contract expired.”
The agency switch coincides with a major milestone for the actor. His new Disney Plus series, The Manipulated, is set to be released today.
